Amir and Ainaa claim U19 wins after hard fought displays

Top seeds Amir Amirul and Noor Ainaa Amani Ampandi both enjoyed a glorious finish to win the Under-19 titles at the CIMB Foundation National Junior Circuit Grand Finals.

But it was no walk in the park as both Amir and Ainaa went through harrowing matches before claiming the wins at the National Squash Centre, Bukit Jalil on Sunday.

Ainaa, the defending champion, was given a real workout by 14-year-old K. Sehveetraa of Kedah as she had to battle her way to an 11-5, 9-11, 8-11, 11-7, 11-8 win. READ MORE
